iPhone 4 32GB Review

The Apple iPhone 4 32GB is the biggest upgrade that the iPhone has seen since the 3G was launched. Some of the upgrades featured with this new Apple smartphone include an improved display, an upgraded operating system, and a sleek and sexy design. You will also find that the iPhone 4G has some improvement in call quality; voices sound louder and there is not as much of a problem with reception and dropped calls.

Not only are there improvements with the platform and hardware, the iPhone 4 32GB also offers some tweaks in design. Although the iPhone 4 does come in the same basic design as the 3G iPhone, the front and back of the device is covered with a specially treated glass that is resistant to scratches and fingerprints. The glass gives this phone a somewhat futuristic look that is elegant and smart. The iPhone 4G is thinner and narrower than its predecessor, measuring 58.6 x 115.2 x 9.3mm and weighing 137g.

The operating system that you get with the Apple iPhone 4 32GB is the same operating system that is being used for the iPad so you can be sure there will be some extras that weren’t offered with previous models. On the front of the phone is a 3.5-inch display, and although the display is no bigger, it does offer twice the resolution of the iPhone 3G so viewing web pages, pictures and text will be much easier on the eyes.

Some of the features that you can expect to get with the new iPhone 4G include multitasking, which is one advancement that is long overdue. The virtual keyboard that comes with this phone is the same as what is offered on the 3GS, but now you get spell check, which is a useful feature.

With the Apple iPhone 4 32GB you can now customize your home screen, plus Apple has added a Game Center that offers a variety of video, as well as social gaming network. Another feature that has been added is persistent WiFi; with this feature your phone will stay connected when you are near a hotspot, even when it is in standby.

For multimedia features the iPhone 4 32GB offers an upgraded camera and video recorder. The built in 5-megapixel camera includes LED flash, plus it can record HD video. You will definitely see an improvement in picture quality with this camera. You still get the same high quality video and music playback with the included iPod player, but with a couple of improvements.

For entertainment you get iMovies and iBooks; with this application you can download movies and books that you can view right form your phone. The only real problem with this is that the display is still not quite large enough to accommodate these features.

If you have an older model iPhone, you’ll certainly want to consider upgrading to the iPhone 4G.
