The BlackBerry Pearl 8120 Titanium measures 4.2 inches tall by 1.9 inches wide by 0.5 inch deep and weighs only 3.2 ounces. This is definitely one of the most compact smartphones available from BlackBerry, and is one of the reasons that it has gained some popularity. This is a mobile phone that easily fits in a pocket or a handbag with no problem at all.
With this phone you get a 2.25-inch screen that features 65,000 colors and 260×240 pixel resolution. There is also an auto light sensing technology that works to automatically adjust the phone’s backlighting according to your current environment so that the display is easier to see no matter what lighting conditions you are in.
The BlackBerry Pearl 8120 in titanium offers a number of new features; among these you’ll find Wi-Fi, which gives you another way that you can connect to the Internet to surf the web. There is also an improved web browser that provides a better and easier mobile Internet experience.
Some of the great features you’ll get with the BlackBerry Pearl 8120 Titanium include quad-band and a speakerphone, voice-activated dialing and smart dialing, conference calling, speed dial, along with text and multimedia messaging. In addition, some of the extras you get include Bluetooth 2.0, with support for mono as well as stereo Bluetooth wireless headsets, hands-free kit, in addition to dial-up networking. Unfortunately, there is no built in GPS, but there is the option of adding this function with a Bluetooth GPS receiver.
Just as you can with other BlackBerry smartphones, with the BlackBerry Titanium 8120 you can sync with your company’s BlackBerry Enterprise server, and includes support for Microsoft Exchange, IBM Lotus Domino, or Novell GroupWise.
