HTC Desire Review

The new HTC Desire is basically like the Nexus One; it uses the Android Operating System, but it also comes with HTC Sense, which the Nexus One doesn’t offer. There is no denying that the Desire is a sleek and stylish smartphone, plus it comes with a feature set that is almost exactly the same as the N1.

With the Desire you will get a 3.7-inch multi touch screen that is easy on the eyes and simple to use. Running the HTC Desire is a 1GHz processor so you’ll find that when running a variety of applications this phone won’t give you many problems when it comes to lag.

Of course with the HTC Desire you get a smartphone that is using the Android platform, but it is even easier to use as you also get HTC Sense. Another advantage to using HTC’s Sense is that you get some fun new widgets. For example, there is now a widget that allows you to view a whole list of email messages instead of just viewing them one at a time. You will also get a weather widget on your home screen so it’s easy to check the weather whenever you need to. What’s nice about the weather widget is that it will always display the current weather conditions for your location, no need to change it when you change your location. There is also an agenda widget; with this you get a display of your entire agenda on the screen.

With the HTC Desire you will find lots of extras, such as an improved browser, and now you can easily translate what is on the browser to your preferred language with Google Translate. Another nice addition to this phone is a joystick instead of a trackball; this will make using the Desire a lot easier.

Some of the features that you get with the Desire include a built in 5-megapixel camera with auto focus, as well as LED flash. You also get support for a wide variety of audio file formats, including AAC, AMR, OGG, and M4A, MID, MP3, WAV, as well as WMA.

This is a high quality smartphone, but quality is common for HTC. The one thing to keep in mind about the HTC Desire is that this phone is a close relative to the Nexus One so you will be getting a device that is very similar, but with a few differences, like the HTC Sense.

If you want a good deal on HTC Desire price you can go online and search for HTC Desire deals, you will likely find lots of offers.
