With the new HTC Smart, you get a mobile phone that offers advanced mobile technology, but is still simple to use. The HTC Smart phone comes with a 2.8-inch touchscreen, as well as a 3-megapixel camera that includes flash. This phone also comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack and a microSD card slot.

The HTC Smart is a handset that can help you be more efficient; while at the same time give you what you need to have fun too. The new HTC comes with Scenes, as well as a variety of different configurations that can help you express yourself, no matter what your mood is throughout the day.

These Scenes or configurations offer modes that will best fit what you are doing at a particular time. For non-workdays you can put the HTC Smart in another mode that puts easy access to your music and video player applications on your home screen. There is also a Scene that you can customize exactly the way you want.

Another nice feature of the HTC Smart phone is that your contacts will all be listed with photographs, and all you have to do to call, email, or text one of your contacts is click on their picture. With this new phone from HTC you will not have to open several applications in order to contact a specific person.

When you begin using the HTC Smart, you’ll find that this mobile phone comes with a lot of extra features that make using it a pleasant experience. One such feature is the single touch button that can change the view of your web browser from portrait to landscape, plus you can zoom in to read text better with just a double click on your screen.

Some of the features to look for with the HTC Smart include a 3-megapixel fixed-focus camera with LED flashlight, support for Bluetooth, and 256 MB of internal memory, with the ability to expand that memory. For connectivity, the HTC Smart phone features 2100MHz HSDPA/WCDMA and quad band GSM/EDGE.  The battery life for this phone is rated for 450 minutes of talk time and 450 hours of standby time.

Recent news has it that the HTC Smart will be available in Europe and Asia in the spring of 2010, as of yet no pricing information has been released for this phone, though it is likely to be one of the more affordable smartphones available in the coming year.
