The HTC Touch 2 is an entry-level handset that features the Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system. The construction and materials of this phone is very high quality, which is a little surprising considering that it is a budget mobile.

With the HTC Touch 2 mobile you get a stylish phone that isn’t too compact, but nice looking; it measures 104 X 55 X 12.9 mm and weighs 110g. On the front of the phone there is a 2.8-inch touchscreen, which is a little small, especially when you consider the size of the handset. Due to the size of this screen you may find that you will have to use the stylus more often than you might with smartphones that have larger screens.

This phone has a battery life that is rated for 370 minutes of talk time, and up to 500 hours of standby time.

Some additional features you’ll find with the HTC Touch 2 include a music player that supports several different file formats, including AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, AMR-NB, QCP, MP3, WMA, WAV, MIDI, and M4A; for video playback you get support for WMV, ASF, MP4, 3GP, 3G2, M4V, and AVI formats. Another useful feature that is built into this phone is a GPS unit, which is very helpful if you need to get directions to a location due to the fact that you are in an unfamiliar city.

To store all of your favorite music and video you get 512 MB of internal memory with the option of expanding that memory with a microSD card. For a budget mobile phone the HTC Touch 2 offers a lot of different features that users will find useful, as well as fun to play with.

Finding HTC Touch 2 deals should be easy as this is a phone that is marketed as being budget friendly. If you choose to buy this phone on contract, you might be able to get it at a greatly reduced price, or even free with the right deal.
