LG Arena KM900 Review

The LG Arena KM900 is a touchscreen phone that puts a lot of focus on multimedia applications. One of the best features of this handset is its massive storage capability; you get 8 GB of storage, plus you can expand the memory with 32 GB of more memory by way of a microSD card.

This stylish and sleek phone features a 3-inch touchscreen and measures 105.9 X 55.3 X 11.95mm, which is the perfect size for slipping into your pocket or handbag. Another great feature of the KM900 design is the fact that it is encased in scratch resistant glass so it will look great, even after you have had it for a while.

Navigation is simple with the LG Arena KM900 phone as it features a 3D rotating menu, which is very responsive to touch. Some additional features of this handset from LG include the built in, 5-megapixel camera, as well as Dolby Mobile V2, DivX support. With this features combined with the surround sound technology included with the KM900, watching movies on this mobile is a pleasant experience.

The LG Arena KM900 offers many improvements over the LG Renoir, except for the camera. Where the Renoir comes with an 8-megapixel camera the KM900 only has a 5-megapixel camera, although the picture quality is very similar to that of the Renoir. With the LG Arena KM900 you can also record video, and the results are better than average quality for a mobile phone.

Some additional features you’ll find included with the LG Arena KM900 phone are a music player and a built in FM radio. There is also an A-GPS system, which allows you to geo-tag your photos as well as get directions to wherever you need to go. You also get Bluetooth technology, as well as several games. In addition you can also use this mobile for email, and there is MS Exchange support, as well as support for text messaging.

The battery life for the LG Arena KM900 is rated for about 4 hours of talk time and 300 hours of standby time; you also get approximately 30 hours of continuous music play.

For browsing the Internet you get a 7.2 MBps 3G HSDPA connection, as well as WiFi. Although the Internet connection is great, the included browser could be much better. There also seems to be some stability issues with this phone as it does have a habit of crashing when using the Internet or the music player.

If you are looking for a multimedia phone there is no doubt that the LG Arena KM900 is just what you are searching for. You get support for a variety of multimedia applications, as well as a large screen for viewing video and photos. Aside from the problem with this phone’s web browsing capabilities, it is really a fantastic phone.
