LG GT505 Review

If you are looking for a mobile phone that is great for social networking you’ll probably love the LG GT505. Although this phone is slightly larger than what some people would prefer, it is very elegant and stylish.

The front of the LG GT505 features a large 3-inch big LCD touchscreen, which is great for viewing video and pictures; in addition, the size of the screen makes reading messages, email and viewing web pages a pleasant experience.

No matter where you go, you’ll always have your favorite music with you when you carry the GT505. The music player on this phone offers some great software to help you arrange your music to make it easy to navigate through, plus it supports MP3 file format. Of course nearly all mobile phones of today feature cameras and the LG GT505 is no different; you’ll get an 5-megapixel camera that includes auto focus, as well as LED flash. Due to the fact that you are limited to an LED flash, the quality of your pictures may not be great if you are shooting in poor lighting conditions.

Some extras you’ll get with this phone include GPS, plus geo tagging for your photos. For those who like video calling, the GT505 also includes this feature, plus you will have the ability to download video for viewing on the video player.

With 3G HSDPA, you’ll get a high-speed connection to the Internet, which is very useful for surfing the web and social networking. In addition, the browser that comes with the LG GT505 supports both, HTML and XHTM. Along with all of this, you’ll also get WLAN technology, which is great for social networking sites such as Facebook and MySpace. For transferring data you get a USB cable, but can also do this with Bluetooth for wireless transfer.

It is only to be expected that LG has had to compromise on some features in order to keep the cost of this phone reasonable enough to appeal to the mass market. One of the biggest problems you’ll see with the LG GT505 is a poor quality video playback, but the inclusion of such features as GPS, WiFi and a fairly good camera, may make up for this. If you are looking for a mid range phone that offers some of the high range features, you may find that many of the LG GT505 reviews are recommending this phone.

If you are looking for a really great phone like the LG ARENA KM900, but simply cannot afford to spend that much, then you should consider trying the LG GT505. This phone can be even more affordable if you look for a LG GT505 contract deal.
