The LG In Touch Max is the first Android mobile offered by this manufacturer. Aside from being an Android phone, the In Touch Max offers a slide out keyboard, which is one of the major selling points of this phone. In addition to the slide out physical keyboard that you get with this phone from LG, they have also included a great feature set, especially for a mid range phone.
The LG In Touch Max is slightly thicker than some mobile phones due to the keyboard; this phone measures 109 x 54.5 x 15.9mm. On the front of the In Touch Max is a 3-inch HVGA resistive touchscreen. Of course the keyboard and the touchscreen are not the only great features with this device. The LG In Touch Max runs off of the Android 1.5 operating system so you can expect to get some really fun extras.
Although the cheap LG In Touch Max is more affordable, you will still get features such as good call quality and the ability to navigate the phone’s menu, even during a call. You will get onboard access to Twitter and Facebook, as well as support for downloading other social networking applications. For taking pictures and recording video the In Touch Max has a built in 5-megapixel camera. The video quality is not so great because of the small size, but for taking still photos there is also an LED flash for better quality. Some additional features that you get with this mobile include Bluetooth, WiFi, as well as Assisted GPS. Of course there is also support for Google Maps and Street View.
With the LG In Touch Max you get a very good mobile phone, and although there are a few problems with the features, this can be expected when you buy a budget friendly phone.
