LG Arena KM900 Silver Review

Though the LG KM900 has so many features and gadgets that you may never use them all, they come at a price, as this phone isn’t too compact at all, considering it’s nearly 12” wide.

There is no doubt that the LG Arena KM900 Silver is full of additional features that you may not find with other touch screen phones, it just isn’t quite as useable as it should be for a high-end phone.

It’s easy to see that the LG Silver Arena was inspired by iPhone, as it resembles a thicker and smaller version of a first generation iPhone.

When it comes to additional features there is no comparison, as the LG KM900 Silver has far more in this area than the iPhone, such as MMS, FM radio, a landscape keyboard, as well as cut and paste, along with Bluetooth.

If you are looking for features such as superior mobile web, surfing, and a great touch screen experience, the iPhone clearly leads in these areas.

The touch screen does seem to be faster with the LG Arena mobile phone silver, and it also offers plenty of options to customize the screen to the user’s preference. One of the major problems with this phone is the on screen keyboard; though it looks great, actually writing text with the keyboard can be awkward at best, often leading to numerous errors.

Some additional problems with the touch screen of the LG KM900 Silver are hitting the links on a webpage. It may be nearly impossible to hit the links correctly to open up the right page.

Despite these drawbacks, some of the features of this phone are exceptional, such as its podcast subscription capabilities. You can easily listen to all of your favorite podcasts while on the move with the LG silver.

The many gadgets and features of the LG KM900 Silver are very alluring to those who just can’t do without the latest advancements, but some of the more practical applications just don’t seem to be up to speed.

Lagging does seem to be a problem with this phone, for example applications such as the music player lags between touching a command and carrying out the command, or it may become unresponsive altogether.

The 5-megapixel camera is adequate for snapping a picture every once in a while when you are out and about, but it may not take good pictures in poor lighting. The Flash on this camera is LED instead of xenon flash, and as a result the image quality of inside photographs may not provide the best pictures.

If you are looking for a lot of extra features and gadgets, and you have small hands capable of manipulating the keyboard, then LG Arena mobile phone silver will serve you well, but if you send many text messages you could find this phone very frustrating.

The bottom line is, the LG Arena Silver probably still needs some polishing in order to justify its high price when compared to other phones of the same caliber.
