The fashion giant Prada, in conjunction with LG has released a very fashionable mobile phone. The LG Prada 2 KF900 comes with comes with HSDPA and a slide-out Qwerty keypad, which is definitely an upgrade from the previous version of the LG Prada mobile phone.

The LG KF900 Prada 2 is a very attractive phone that closely resembles the first Prada, at least in appearance. On the front of this mobile phone you’ll get a large touchscreen that sits just below the Prada logo; additionally, there is a video camera placed on the front to allow for video calling. The new Prada 2 is a little bigger than its predecessor, but this is likely because it has many more features than the previous version.

One of the first differences that you’ll notice is that the LG Prada 2 KF900 features a slide-out Qwerty keypad. This is a great addition, especially if you like to text and send email with your mobile phone.

Although the Prada 2 does come in a very attractive design, it has a glossy finish, so of course it will be a fingerprint magnet. Aside from this, most people will love the classy look of the LG KF900 Prada 2.

One disappointment with the Prada 2 is the 5-megapixel, camera. The camera does come with an LED flash, but would have been much improved if they had included a xenon flash instead. When taking pictures outdoors, you’ll get some very high quality photos, but if you try to use the camera in poor lighting you will quickly see that the LED flash is inadequate. There is no doubt that you will get good enough pictures for sending with email or text messages, but if you want pictures for printing you will want to stick with your stand alone digital camera.

The media player of the LG KF900 Prada II is nice with good audio quality, as you might expect of such a high-end phone, plus it features a battery life rated for 3 hours of talk time and 400 hours of standby time.

You definitely find that the LG Prada 2 KF900 offers far more than its predecessor; with the slide out keyboard a welcome upgrade. One surprising omission of the Prada 2 is its lack of GPS. If this had been included this would definitely be one of the best phones on the market. Another problem with this phone is that it is very costly, especially for the SIM free version.
