Will iPhone 4G be coming to us next April?

There are rumours that the technology giant Apple may be set to bring its up and coming 4G iPhone to the UK in April next year although there has been no official confirmation as yet.

The technology known as 3G has become widely used in the UK, and for many people it is difficult to remember what life was like without this technology. Both casual and business users have become accustomed to being able to access the Internet whilst out and about using mobile broadband services and mobile devices, and many could not imagine being unable to do this.

Mobile phones being used more and more by social networking fans

Whilst social networking sites are still extremely popular there seems to be a change emerging in the way that users access these sites, with more and more people using their mobile phones to access social networking sites.

There is no doubt that social networking sites have become extremely popular in a relatively short space of time, with sites such as Twitter and Facebook having become household names very quickly. Many people use social networking sites on a daily basis, and in particular these sites are popular with younger people and celebrities who seem to want the rest of the world to know what they have been up to and what they are doing.

HTC sued by Apple over patent infringement

It has been reported that the creator of the hugely popular iPhone, Apple, has decided to sue another mobile device manufacturer over alleged patent infringement.

Over the past couple of years the iPhone from Apple has become enormously popular in the UK as well as in other countries around the world. This smart phone boasts many features and offers a range of applications that have made it into a hugely popular device amongst consumers and business users, and naturally its popularity has resulted in many other mobile phone manufacturers launching their own smart phones to try and rival the Apple iPhone.

Nexus One may be coming to Vodafone in April

Following rumours of a spring launch for the Google smart phone, the Nexus One, is has now been suggested that it is more likely to be April when the phone is launched in the UK with the mobile network provider.

For some time now there has been speculation over when the Google smart phone, the Nexus One, will be available in the UK. The Nexus One has been surrounded with a great deal of hype as well as with controversy over problems that have been experienced by users. Many consumers have complained of being unable to get adequate support and not known who should be providing the support for the smart phones.

iPhone bundle launched by Orange

Orange, the second network provider in the UK to offer the Apple iPhone, has developed an iPhone bundle deal that includes a free iphone and home broadband services.

Last year the UK saw Orange become the second network provider to start offering the Apple iPhone following a deal that it struck with Apple. Until this time the iPhone had only been available through the rival network provider O2, which had originally signed an exclusivity deal with Apple. It has now been reported that Orange has come up with a new iPhone bundle deal that could benefit those that want to own an iPhone and enjoy a home broadband service.

Ambitious plans from Samsung to sell Wave phones

Technology giant Samsung has announced ambitious plans with regards to its sales levels for the Wave phone, stating that it plans to sell ten million of the handsets by the end of the year.

With the number of new mobile handsets coming onto the market increasing all the time mobile phone manufacturers have had to step up the game when it comes to selling their own handsets in order to beat off rival manufacturers and providers. One mobile phone giant, Samsung, has announced that it is taking measures to try and meet a very ambitious target with regards to the sale of its Wave phones.

Adult app ban sparks anger amongst iPhone developers

A decision by Apple to ban some adult based apps from iPhones has sparked anger amongst iPhone developers, who have accused Apple of being unfair with regards to choosing which apps to remove.

King of the smart phones Apple has recently decided to remove thousands of adults based apps from the apps store according to a recent report. However, this decision to ban these adult apps has been met with anger from iPhone developers, who are claiming that the company is being unfair in deciding which of the adult apps it is banning from the store.
