It has been revealed in a recent report that 3 has become the next provider to start offering the new smart phone from HTC called the HTC Desire, and should start providing the handset in spring of this year.
Competition amongst mobile network providers in the UK has always been tough, but since the high tech smart phone became a mainstream gadget rather than a luxury boy toy the competition amongst these providers has become even greater. Smart phones such as the Apple iPhone have become extremely popular in the UK over the past couple of years, and this is something that mobile network providers have quickly caught onto.
One mobile phone manufacturer HTC recently announced that launch of a smart phone called the HTC Desire, which was meant to rival the Nexus One smart phone from Google. Since the launch of this phone was announced a number of mobile network giants have jumped on board to provide the Desire, so competition is set to be fierce amongst those that will be dealing with this particular handset.
An announcement has recently been made by the mobile network provider 3, which has announced that it is to become the fifth mobile network provider to offer the HTC Desire. It is set to start stocking the Desire in spring of this year, so those that want to take out this mobile phone on a 3 contract should not have too much longer to wait.
An official from 3 stated: “HTC is producing some fantastic internet phones at the moment, and are really leading the pack. Like us, they really understand what consumers want from the internet on their phone – a flexible and intuitive interface, coupled with a reliable 3G network that offers a strong and speedy connection.”
