The HTC Desire is living up to its name, after a poll of nearly two thousand respondents indicated that nearly half of them were keen to get their hands on the Desire.
The HTC Desire is one of the latest smart phone devices to take the UK market by storm, and with smart phone devices having become hugely popular many people are keen to get their hands on one of these mobiles. In fact a recent poll has shown just how popular the HTC Desire has already become amongst users in the UK, many of whom are planning or hoping to rush out and get one.
The poll involved asking nearly two thousand consumers whether they were planning to go out and buy one of the new HTC Desire handsets, which run on the Android operating system, particularly given the huge choice of other smart phone devices that were available on the market.
Out of the people that were polled for the survey forty seven percent of them said that they intended to go out and get one of these HTC Desire smart phones as soon as they could. Many also said that they would be prepared to give up their Apple iPhone – once the darling of the smart phone sector – in order to have an HTC Desire.
The HTC Desire is being made available through the major network providers across the UK, and this means that consumers will have plenty of choice when looking for deals or deciding on which network provider they wish to go with. This will help to further boost the popularity of the HTC Desire compared to a device such as the Nexus One, which is only available from Google.
