There are rumours that the technology giant Apple may be set to bring its up and coming 4G iPhone to the UK in April next year although there has been no official confirmation as yet.

The technology known as 3G has become widely used in the UK, and for many people it is difficult to remember what life was like without this technology. Both casual and business users have become accustomed to being able to access the Internet whilst out and about using mobile broadband services and mobile devices, and many could not imagine being unable to do this.

However, there are some problems with 3G technology, and this includes getting good coverage, getting adequate speeds, and ensuring total reliability of the service. Those that are fans of 3G technology are probably eager to see the implementation of 4G services in the UK, as this could mean faster speeds, greater reliability, and better coverage.

It is now rumoured that the technological giant Apple, which is behind the hugely popular iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS, is set to release its 4G iPhone, and this could be launched in April of next year. The company is said to already be focussing on the advanced iPhone having dealt with the launch of the iPad, and no doubt many consumers and businesses will be keen to get their hands on the device.

It is also rumoured that the 4G iPhone will be using a special super-fast 4G chip that is called the BCS5000. However, it is thought that the chip will not be ready for use until the second quarter of next year, hence the rumoured release date of next April.
