Budget touch screen phone to be released by LG
By Rob Webber on 10th March - No Comments

LG has decided to get in on the act when it comes to low cost touch screen mobile phones by launching a new offering that will most likely cost under one hundred pounds.

Touch screen phones have become more and more popular over recent years, and in addition to being smart, stylish, and modern in terms of appearance they are also highly practical to use. Many people find it easier and quicker to use touch screen phones rather than a standard keypad, and this increased popularity of touch screen phones has seen a rising number of manufacturers offering these devices.

Another mobile phone manufacturer, LG, has recently announced the release of some low cost new mobile handsets, and this includes a new, low cost touch screen phone for the budget minded user. The phone will not come with a 3G chip inside, and it is thought that this will drive down the cost of the handset further so it may be available for under one hundred pounds.

The name of the new LG touch screen phone is the Cookie Fresh, and it is thought that this handset comes with a three inch screen. A 2 megapixel camera is built into the Cookie Fresh handset, and there is a 3.5 mm headphone slot. No confirmation about the actual date of release for the Cookie Fresh has been given as yet, but it is thought that it is likely to be a spring launch.

If all goes well the Cookie Fresh handset is likely to prove popular amongst consumers that don’t want to spend a fortune on a new handset, but want something that looks smart and modern without costing them a fortune.
