Technology and electronics giant LG has recently unveiled its first Android mobile phone handset which is due to be available from a couple of network operators in the UK.
Mobile phone handsets have been getting increasingly advanced in the UK, with devices such as smart phones and Android based handsets giving consumers the chance to enjoy high tech handsets at affordable prices. One technology and electronics giant, LG, has now unveiled its first Android based mobile phone handset, which is set to be made available from two network providers in the UK.
The new handset is the LG GW620, and it is also known as the InTouch Max. The handset offers a range of benefits and features, making it a practical yet stylish and modern handset. The sleek handset boasts a five mega-pixel camera that has face recognition and also has Bluetooth and WiFi built into the handset.
There are plenty of other features that come with this new LG offering, including a slide out QWERTY keyboard and a fast web browser that will enable users to enjoy faster streaming of data. According to reports the new LG handset will be available from Virgin and T-Mobile, with Virgin offering the phone for twenty two pounds a month on an eighteen month contract, and T-Mobile offering it for twenty pounds a month on a slightly longer contract of two years.
Dr Skott Ahn, president and chief executive officer of LG Electronics Mobile Communications, stated: “LG’s first Android phone, LG GW620, was developed with social networking in mind from the start. Social networking has become ubiquitous and an important way for many of us to stay connected with friends, family and co-workers.”
