£320 price tag announced for the new Nokia C7
By Richard Patterson on 8th November - No Comments

According to a recent claim from Play.com the new Nokia C7 smartphone, which appeared back in September at the Nokia World 2010, will cost customers just £320 including delivery and will be available from the 9th November.

In order for the Nokia C7 to be able to compete and gain market share over rival smartphones like the Samsung galaxy S and the Nokia N8 the price of its new handset has had to match the price that its rivals are available for. The price includes the cost of the rival handsets on PAYG or pay monthly contracts, and this is the reason for Nokia cutting £69 off the recommended retail price of its new smartphone.

Running the Symbian 3 operating system the new Nokia C7 comes with a wide range of impressive features and is the first handset in the Nokia’s range to come equipped with the Nokia ClearBlack display.

When it is released the new Nokia C7 handset will be available through the retailer Carphone Warehouse and the mobile network operator 3UK will be one of the network providers. One of the best deals currently available on the Nokia C7 is a £25 per month deal from T-Mobile, which offers 500 texts, 600 minutes and 1GB of data usage each month.

Among the many features of the Nokia C7 are a 3.5 inch glass touch screen display that provides a 640 by 360 pixel resolution, 8GB of memory, an 8-megapixel camera that can shoot high-definition videos as well as the usual still images and Bluetooth 3.0.

Not only can the new Nokia C7 provide access to various email accounts like Windows Live Hotmail, Yahoo Mail and Ovi Mail but it can also allow users to receive live updates from social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook and display them using multiple home screens.
