Mobile phone giant Nokia has released details about its new C5 smart phone which is to be the first of its C series of mobile phone handsets and offers a range of features at an affordable price.
The smart phone is a device that is now either owned or on the wish lists of many consumers, and these mobile handsets have become popular with both business and casual users over the past couple of years. Driven by the popularity of the Apple iPhone smart phones are set to become more and more popular, with consumers keen to get their hands on the features, capabilities, and stylish looks of these handsets.
A rising number of mobile phone giants are now churning out smart phones, and this has resulted in increased competition in this particular section of the mobile phones market. One mobile manufacturing giant, Nokia, has recently released details of its new C5 mobile handset, which with its Symbian S60 3rd edition technology just about makes the grade as a smart phone.
According to reports those the C5 is the first in the C series of phones due to come from Nokia, and those that opt for this handset will be able to enjoy a range of features at a very affordable price. The unsubsidised prices of the Nokia C5 will be around one hundred and twenty pounds, which is far cheaper than many other smart phones that can be found on the market.
The C5 comes with a number of features, and this includes a 3.2 megapixel camera, GPS for the free Ovi maps navigation feature, and a 2GB memory card. The phonebook is also upgraded on this phone, and allows users to see the Facebook status of their contacts and friends. It is estimated that the phone will be released in the second quarter of this year.
