Following previous delays with its release reports have claimed that the Nokia N900 mobile phone is to hit UK markets as early as next week
For some time mobile phone enthusiasts have been waiting for the release of the Nokia N900, which is first Nokia handset to be powered by Maemo 5. The device was set to be released in the UK at around the end of last month. However, for many that had been waiting to get their hands on the handset there was disappointment after the mobile phone giant announced that there had been a delay with the release of the N900.
However, reports have now claimed that a new release date has been set for the release of this device, and technology hungry consumers won’t have to wait too long to get their hands on the long awaited N900. It is thought that the mobile is going to be released in the United States on 14th November, which is this coming weekend, and will be released in the UK just a couple of days later on November 16th.
With the phone set to be released well in time for Christmas providing there are no further delays this could be a popular gift choice over in the run up to the festive season. However, there are many competitors out there at present, and many people are speculating over which smart phone or mobile device is going to enjoy the greatest success.
According to reports the phone will be available at no cost for consumers that take it with a two year contract with Orange priced at £35 per month. You can also get the phone for just ten pounds if you take it with O2 on a two year contract plan priced at £30 per month.
