It has been announced by mobile phone giant Nokia that it is releasing the long awaited Nokia N8 shortly, with the release date having been confirmed as the 26th of this month.

There have been many different mobile phones released over the past couple of years, with a range of devices to suit different needs and pockets, and this includes a range of smart phones from a variety of different mobile phone manufacturers. High profile launches have come from the likes of Apple and HTC, and the latest is on its way from Nokia later this month.

Nokia has confirmed that it will be releasing its long awaited Nokia N8 later this month, with the launch date set for the 26th of this month. Already the smart phone, which is being dubbed a contender for the high end Apple iPhone 4 and the HTC Desire, has been made available for pre-order on some sites, with delivery dates expected for the end of August.

For those that enjoy taking pictures on their mobile devices the Nokia N8 will be a dream, as it offers an amazing 12 megapixel camera for high quality shots. The phone boasts a 3.5 inch touch screen, HD video recording, and has the Symbian 3 Operating System.

The cost of the phone will be around the £420 mark, so many will be keen to wait until there are various deals available from different mobile phone providers so that they can get the handset as part of a mobile phone package rather than having to pay upfront for it.
