The market when it comes to smart phones has become increasingly competitive over the past year, and with this in mind one mobile provider is set to cut the price of its smart phones.

Over the past twelve months the popularity of smart phones has soared in the UK as well as in other countries around the world, and many people are now keen to get their hands on one of the sophisticated smart phone devices on the market, which offer a range of features as well as high tech and modern designs. This is resulted in the number of smart phones on the market rocketing with a number of manufacturers bringing out smart phones to suit a range of needs and budgets.

The rise in the number of smart phones available has created stiff competition in the smart phone market, and this has proven to be good news for users, as it means that they can access better deals and lower prices when looking to buy a smart phone. One mobile provider has now announced that it is going to be cutting the prices on some of its smart phones, which means that consumers will be able to enjoy great value for money as a result of the tough competition.

According to reports the mobile provider Nokia is cutting the prices on its mobile phones, with the price of some smart phones set to be cut by around ten percent. The report claims that Nokia is struggling to deal with competition from the likes of Apple and other manufacturers that are bringing out high end smart phones, and is hoping that the price cuts will help to boost sales and revenue.

It is also claimed that the company was set to renew its Symbian software in the second quarter of this year, but that the renewal of the software has now been postponed to the latter half of the year.
