It has been reported that the mobile network operator O2, which is owned by Telefonica, is to stock handsets from the Chinese telecoms giant Huawei, with the first budget handset already available through the network.
The wide range of mobile handsets available these days makes it easy for consumers to find a mobile handset that is well suited to their needs and fits in with their pocket. There are many different handset models available from a wide range of manufacturers and network providers, giving consumers more choice than ever when it comes to choosing a suitable handset.
According to recent reports the mobile network operator O2 has now decided to stock handsets from the Chinese telecoms giant Huawei, and the first budget handset by this manufacturer is already being advertised with O2, which is owned by Telefonica.
The first of these Huawei handsets is the G7002, which is a budget handset that may appeal to those that do not need too many frill and extras with their mobile phones. This handset model is available at a price of forty pounds. Amongst the features that buyers can look forward to is a 2.4 inch resistive touch screen, 2MB of internal memory, a 1.3 megapixel camera, and FM radio.
An official from O2 said: “We are pleased to be partnering with Huawei to bring the G7002 to our customers, The G7002 makes owning a touch screen phone even more affordable and helps us continue to offer a great range of products to our customers.”
