O2 taking on Samsung Jet Ultra
By Jo Wilkes on 19th March - No Comments

Having lost its exclusivity deal with the popular Apple iPhone towards the end of last year mobile network provider O2 is now to become the only provider offering the Samsung Jet Ultra handset.

In the latter part of last year the mobile network provider O2 lost its exclusive contract with Apple, and became one of three major network providers to stock the popular Apple iPhone 3G and 3Gs rather than being the exclusive provider of these smart phones. This put O2 at risk of losing valuable business to rival providers, with customers being given the choice of taking out an Apple iPhone contract with one of the other two providers, Orange and Vodafone.

However, it has now been revealed that O2 is to take on the exclusive contract to sell a new mobile handset from Samsung, which is the Samsung Jet Ultra. The new handset is a stylish phone that offers a range of features and will add to the choice of modern smart phones that consumers already have at their disposal.

The new offering from Samsung is said to be a multi-media entertainment device, and it comes with built in iPlayer compatibility so that users can enjoy catch up TV on their handset. 3G and WiFi access with the new smart phone means that consumers should be able to enjoy reliable connectivity and smooth streaming.

The cost of getting the Samsung Jet Ultra should not be too high either, and consumers that sign up to an eighteen month contract at a cost of twenty pounds per month will be able to pick up this stylish new Samsung smart phone for nothing from O2.
