iPhone bundle launched by Orange

Orange, the second network provider in the UK to offer the Apple iPhone, has developed an iPhone bundle deal that includes a free iphone and home broadband services.

Last year the UK saw Orange become the second network provider to start offering the Apple iPhone following a deal that it struck with Apple. Until this time the iPhone had only been available through the rival network provider O2, which had originally signed an exclusivity deal with Apple. It has now been reported that Orange has come up with a new iPhone bundle deal that could benefit those that want to own an iPhone and enjoy a home broadband service.

The new iPhone bundle from Orange is the Home Max and mobile phone bundle, and those that sign up or the deal can enjoy the benefits of owning the latest Apple iPhone 3GS, which is thrown in free with the package. The home broadband element of the package will offer broadband speeds of up to 20Mbps, and unlimited downloads subject to the Orange fair usage policy.

The free Apple iPhone 3GS that comes with the package comes with its own benefits, and this includes five hundred texts a month, twelve hundred minutes a month, and unlimited mobile internet and WiFi. Users can also choose Magic Numbers to which they can make calls for free.

The cost of the iPhone and home broadband bundle will come to sixty pounds per month. When taken separately the Home Max package normally comes to seventeen pounds a month including line rental, and the iPhone deal on its own costs forty five pounds a month. One industry official pointed out: “This bundle doesn’t save you much compared to buying the two products separately so you should compare providers to make sure that you’re getting the best home broadband and iPhone deals – even if they come from separate ISPs.”
