It has been revealed that later this year the UK will see the launch of another new smart phone offering from Sony Ericsson in the form of the SE Aspen.
Smart phones have become increasingly popular over the past couple of years, with devices such as the Apple iPhone 3G and 3GS making smart phones into mainstream devices rather than devices that were used solely by business users. With the increase in popularity of smart phones has come an increase in the range and availability of these gadgets, with a number of major mobile phone manufacturers now offering technically advanced, feature-rich devices to suit a wide range of needs and budgets.
Sony Ericsson is one of the manufacturers that has been trying to find success in the smart phone market, and whilst it has already launched some smart phones in the UK the press for the company has not been all good as a result of the initial problems that were experienced with smart phones such as the Satio.
However, this determined manufacturer is clearly not ready to give up and later this year the UK should see the launch of another Sony Ericcson smart phone in the form of the SE Aspen. The device will run on the mobile operating system Windows 6.5.3, and it will offer a range of features as well as boasting green credentials. Other features of the phone include a 2.4 inch display, WiFi, Bluetooth, a 3.2 megapixel camera, and a suite of multimedia features.
According to the manufacturer of the SE Aspen its curved design means that users will find that it fits comfortably into the palm of their hands. It is thought that the new offering from Sony Ericsson will come to the UK in around the second quarter of the year.
