The world of mobile phones has changed massively over recent years, and these days consumers can get handsets that come with all the bells and whistles and can be used to organise their lives, stay in touch with loves ones, get online and surf, take videos and photos, plays music, and much more. Over the past couple of years smart phones and Android phones have become firm favourites amongst tech savvy mobile phone users.

The choice of Android based phones is set to increase as a rising number of mobile phone giants latch on to the popularity of these handsets, and another addition to the Android mobile phone market has been announced recently, which means that consumers will be able to enjoy a greater level of choice when looking or an Android mobile phone.

The Galaxy Portal from technological giant Samsung is finally coming to the UK after it was launched last year under the name of the Samsung Galaxy Lite/Spica. The handset will be made available through the network operator T-Mobile, and consumers will be able to get their hands on the phone at no cost if they sign up to an eighteen month contract priced at just twenty three pounds a month.

The handset boasts a 3.2 inch screen, and the high resolution means that users will be able to benefit from high quality graphics. There is a built in 3.15 megapixel camera built into this device, but there is no LED flash so users will have to be wary of lighting conditions. The phone looks smart, modern, and sleek, and is likely to prove popular given its affordability compared to other Android phones.
