Nokia N900 to be on sale from Boxing Day
By Rob Webber on 18th December - No Comments

Vodafone has been pipped to the post when it comes to the sale of the eagerly awaited Nokia N900 smart phone, which will now be available from Boxing Day from a major mobile phone seller.

It was reported recently that mobile phone giant Vodafone may have been hoping to be the first to start selling the eagerly awaited smart phone, the Nokia N900. However, according to reports Vodafone has been pipped to the post by a major mobile phone seller, which will start selling the Nokia N900 from Boxing Day.

Vodafone is set to start selling the Nokia N900 from 7th January, but Carphone Warehouse will start selling the device from Boxing Day. This will come as good news for those that have been waiting for the launch of this phone, as they only have another week and a half to wait before they get their hands on the smart phone.

Pre-orders for the phone are now being taken by both Carphone Warehouse and Vodafone. The Nokia N900 boasts a range of features that users will be able to benefit from, and rather than having just WiFi like Nokia’s previous models this one will have cellular voice and data capabilities, which turn it into a smart phone.

The device boasts a 3.5 inch high resolution touch screen, and a full QWERTY keyboard that slides out. It also comes with Nokia’s Ovi Maps, Mozilla web browser, and Adobe Flash Player 9.4. Users can also look forward to other features, such as a five mega-pixel camera and 32GB of storage, which can be increased to 48GB of storage with a MicroSD card slot.
