It has recently been announced that the highly anticipated Nokia N8 handset will now be available on pre-order with the mobile network provider Vodafone and the 22nd October will be the date given for users to receive the brand new flagship smartphone.

Users will have a variety of different tariffs available from Vodafone like a plan that will provide the handset for £99 and for just £25 a month on a two-year contract users will get 500 texts, 100 free minutes and 500MB of data.

Alternatively users can get their Nokia N8 completely free when the opt for the £30 a month plan over two years that offers 500MB data usage, unlimited texts and 600 free minutes.

This new smartphone will also be available free on its £55 a month tariff on a 24 month contract that offers users 1GB of monthly data access and 5MB Euro data as well as unlimited texts and 3000 free minutes.

Among the many features of new Nokia N8 is the Symbian 3 operating system which is a first for Nokia and also a 3.5 inch AMOLED touchscreen display with a 640 x 360 pixel resolution, 16GB memory that can be expanded to 32GB using a microSD card slot.

Users will also get access to one of the highest quality camera’s available on a smartphone with a huge 12-megapixel output and a Carl Zeiss lens, a Xenon flash and 720p high-definition video recording capabilities.

Access to the various different social networking platforms like Twitter or Facebook is also available on the new handset and users will even be able to use the home screen on the handset to get instant access to all their latest updates.
