It has been announced in a recent report that mobile network operator Vodafone is set to start offering a mini Android phone from Sony Ericsson later this year.
Smart phones and Android phones are becoming more and more popular amongst consumers in the UK, as they are packed with features and benefits that enable users to do so much more than just make calls and send texts. However, the downside of the many features that these phones can offer is that it can make the phones quite large compared to some of the tiny standard mobile phones that can be found on the market today.
However, a new phone from Sony Ericsson is set to hit the shelves in the UK this year, and this is an Android phone with a difference, as it is far smaller than the usual smart phones that can be found on the market. This could make the phone ideal for those that want the practicality and functionality of a smart phone coupled with the portability and compact design of a standard mobile phone.
The handset is called the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini, and it is rumoured to be coming to the UK soon through the mobile network provider Vodafone. According to a report Vodafone has confirmed that it will be selling the new Sony Ericsson offering but has not yet provided any dates.
The Xperia X10 Mini is a small, compact, and sleek looking phone with a two and a half inch screen, making it portable and discreet. However, users can still enjoy the benefits that other smart phones offer with this handset, which boasts a 600Mhz processor, 3G, and WiFi. It is powered by a slightly older version of Android, which is Cupcake.
