Nokia 5630

Nokia 5630 Review
If you are shopping for a smartphone that can deliver some great features, including good Internet connectivity, and be a fantastic performer, while at the same time come in a compact package, you’ll probably like the Nokia 5630. This phone is compact and thin, and runs the Symbian S60 3rd Edition operating system.
With the Nokia 5630 XpressMusic you get a 2.2-inch QVGA resolution screen that delivers a bright and colorful picture, even when in direct sunlight. An additional feature that a lot of users will enjoy is the full focus camera. With this camera you can take panoramic pictures, plus there are several presets that will make using this camera easy. Pictures taken outdoors turn out fairly well, but indoor pictures tend to come out a little dark. You can also record video with the Nokia 5630 at 640×480 pixels and 15 frames per second.
The audio quality of the Nokia 5630 XpressMusic is good, but for a mobile phone that focuses on music it should probably be better. For video playback of MP4 video files, the 5630 smartphone has Real Player preloaded. This phone’s performance is great; there is very little if any, noticeable lag when using the various applications.
Call quality isn’t up to today’s mobile phone standards. When making calls the sound seems to be a little too low, and a slightly tinny. The people on the other end of the call get good quality sound, so this appears to be a problem that is primarily on the caller’s end.
If you are looking for a phone that offers a long battery life the Nokia 5630 does come out good in this area. This phone is rated at 7 hours of talk time, and over 400 hours of standby time. For listening to music the manufacturer has rated the battery life at approximately 24 hours.
There is no doubt that this is a stylish and attractive smartphone, and the Nokia 5630 does live up to much of its hype, with the exception of sound and call quality. If you are looking for a nice mobile phone that focuses on music features there are several available that will probably beat the Nokia 5630 XpressMusic, such as the Nokia 5600. Another alternative to this phone is the Sony Ercisson W705. Although the W705 isn’t considered a smartphone, it does offer comparable features to the 5630.
If music isn’t your primary concern and you’d like to give this phone a try there are many places online that offer some great Nokia 5630 deals, you might possibly get this phone at a very big discount. Before you do decide to purchase this phone you should probably do some more research by reading Nokia 5630 reviews.
