Nokia 6303i Review

The Nokia 6303i is a basic mobile phone that looks a lot like the Nokia 6300, it is a compact and lightweight device that features a basic interface that is easy to use. The simple design is great for those who just don’t want to have to spend a lot of time learning how to use their mobile. The keys are large enough that the keypad is easy to use, which is a nice change from many of the handsets of today.

Another feature of the 6303i Nokia is that it is durable enough that it won’t fall apart the first time that you drop it. A lot of people will be familiar with the S40 operating system that comes with this phone, so the interface will be easy to get accustomed to and use. You will also get a lot of personalization options with the Nokia 6303i, which is always good.

On the front of the 6303i is a 2.2-inch screen, and though it is not very large, it is adequate enough for what you would be using the screen for. As mentioned, the Nokia 6303i is compact enough that it will easily slip into your pocket or handbag; this phone measures 108.8 x 46.2 x 11.7mm and weighs only 96g.

Some of the features that come with the 6303i Nokia include 17 MB of internal memory, along with the option of expanding the external memory up to 4 GB. Some of the calling options include voice dialing and conference calling. For connectivity you get Bluetooth, as well as GPRS and EDGE.

Although the Nokia 6303i is a basic phone, you will also get some multimedia features like a 3.15-megapixel camera with 8X zoom, and flash, as well as auto focus. With this camera you can also record video, though the quality isn’t the best. This is probably to be expected with the low cost of the 6303i.

For other media features the 6303i Nokia has a built in music and video player that will play MP3 and MP4 file formats; there is also support for a variety of ringtones. So that you never have to worry about being idle, this handset comes with some preloaded games and you have the option of downloading more.

Some of the basic features that come with the Nokia 6303i include a personal organizer and a world clock; there is a calculator, an alarm, as well as a calendar. This phone also includes such features as Nokia Maps, Opera Mini browser with Flash Lite support, and much more.

Unfortunately the Nokia 6303i doesn’t come with 3G or WiFi, but for the price, what you do get isn’t too bad. If you mainly use your mobile for making phone calls or sending text messages the 6303i Nokia is worth considering, especially if you don’t want to spend a lot of money.
