Nokia 6700 Review

The Nokia 6700 is a solid, high quality mobile phone, but you won’t get any of the fancy features of a high-end smartphone. Nokia has a good reputation for making mobile handsets that do exactly what they are suppose to do, without all the frills, and that’s exactly what you get with the Nokia 6700 Classic.

With the Nokia 6700 you’ll get a reliable, nice looking mid-range phone that won’t cost you a lot. You can get the 6700 in a stainless steel design that gives this phone a really classy look, but of course this type of casing will attract fingerprints.

The Nokia 6700 Classic runs on an updated version of the S40 operating system. They’ve taken their solid operating system and made it even better, which is great news. With this new Nokia phone you get a small screen of only 2.2-inches, but the picture quality is good and the screen is bright and colorful.

A nice surprise with the Nokia 6700 is its 5-megapixel camera, which takes some good pictures. Although not the same quality you may get with a digital camera, for a mobile phone camera it performs better than average. There is an LED flash that works well in low lighting, as long as the object is not too far away; all in all, this phone camera isn’t bad at all.

This handset from Nokia does not come with WiFi, but you do get a great connection with 3G. Connecting to the Internet is fairly quick and simple. The Nokia browser is great, and easy to navigate, but the phone also has Opera Mini if you would prefer to use that browser.

The 6700, does come with a good music player that is very easy to use, but one drawback is that it doesn’t have a standard headphone jack, and there isn’t an adapter included. What is included is ear buds, though many people do not like listening to their music player with these.

When you purchase the Nokia 6700 it comes with a 1 GB microSD memory card, plus the phone supports up to 8 GB.

The call quality of the Nokia 6700 is great, which is not surprising considering that this phone has the new noise cancellation technology, so no matter where you are, the person on the other end should have no problems hearing you.

If you are looking for a solidly built mobile phone that just offers the basics, you’ll love the Nokia 6700 Classic. This phone gives you what you need in a mobile handset without all the frills of the touchscreen smartphones, and best of all, it’s not difficult to find some great Nokia 6700 deals.

When shopping for a new 6700, you may want to consider the Nokia 6700 contract deals; this is the best way to get the new Nokia phones and a greatly reduced price.
