E63 Nokia Review
The Nokia E63 is designed much like the Nokia E71 but it is not as heavy on features and comes at a reduced price. Although this is a less expensive mobile phone it doesn’t look or feel like it’s of less quality.
The E63 Nokia is designed in a tablet shape, and features a front facing QWERTY keyboard and a 2.4-inch display. One of the differences between the two phones is noticeable almost as soon as you look at the device. Where the E71 is constructed of metal, the Nokia E63 has a plastic casing. In addition, you may notice that the E63 is a little thinker and was slightly more at 126g.
In spite of these differences, the E63 Nokia is still a phone that is stylish, and feels great to hold in the hand. This mobile handset offers several great features that make it easy and fun to use. With the 320 X 240 pixel display, you get a bright and crisp picture no matter if you are inside or outdoors.
For those who really liked the keyboard on the E71, the same QWERTY keyboard is used with the E63. With this keyboard you get domed keys, which make it much easier to use. With the Nokia E63 keyboard texting and calling is easy, especially after you get a bit of practice.
With this mobile phone from Nokia you will get the Symbian S60 Feature Pack 1 (v3.1) operating system. This is one of the best mobile operating systems available and if you have used other Nokia phones you will easily adjust to this interface.
Browsing the Internet is a fairly good experience with the Nokia E63 S60 Browser, which is a Webkit-based browser much like Apple’s Safari Mobile browser. When using a 3G or Wi-Fi connection, you can surf the web at higher speeds.
Much like all of the Nokia E series mobile handsets, the E63 is a phone that is more for the business professional than for personal use, though it would work great for both. Some of the extras you’ll get with the E63 Nokia that make working while on the go much easier include Mail for Exchange, QuickOffice, Active Notes, as well as a Measurements and Financial Converter.
You will get a basic 2.0-megapixel camera that includes auto focus and flash, but the camera will not stand up against some of the better phone cameras available. The camera itself is not a good reason to by the Nokia E63.
With the Nokia E63 deals on contract or with the Nokia E63 pay as you go plan, this is a smartphone that is definitely affordable. Those who are considering the E63 just need to keep in mind that this is definitely a phone for work as apposed to entertainment and leisure.
