Nokia X6 Red Review

The Nokia X6 is a new touchscreen smartphone that has been introduced to the Nokia X Series phones. Although this is a square shaped phone it is still slim and compact. Even though it is not the most stylish phone available from Nokia, it still looks quite nice.

There is no doubt that the Nokia X6 is a music lover’s dream, as it provides the user up to 35 hours of music play. In addition to this, the X6 features a huge amount of internal storage of 36 GB; with this much storage you can download every music track you have to your mobile phone and take it with you wherever you go. Probably because there is so much internal memory, the X6 does not come with a microSD slot.

Some additional features you’ll find with the Nokia X6 include support for UMTS network, HSDPA, plus a large 3.2-inch display. You also get built in GPS navigation with Ovi Maps, and WiFi connectivity. For taking pictures this phone includes a 5-megapixel camera with auto focus, and LED flash. There is also a video player, along with video calling.

In some regions of the world this handset will also come with a subscription to the Nokia Music Store so you can download a lot of extra music to go with what you already have. In addition to this you will also get email support for Exchange, and Nokia Email, plus you get SMS and MMS messaging. Keeping in touch with your friends and family is easy with the Nokia X6 mobile phone.

Although slightly thick for a touchscreen device, it is a major improvement over many of the touchscreen smartphones that are on the market. This is due to the fact that this phone features a technology known as capacitive touchscreen, which makes using the touchscreen much easier. Viewing your picture gallery and moving through the home screen is easy with this type of touchscreen.

Web surfing is great with the Nokia X6, as you get high speed, plus a web browser that supports flash so that you can view online videos on such sites as YouTube. You can also download games from the Ovi Store, as well as podcasts and a number of other applications.

One problem with the Nokia X6 is that it is very expensive, close in price to the iPhone and although this phone does have some very high-end features, it’s debatable whether they equal that of the iPhone.

Although this is a costly mobile, you might find that you can get this phone at a greatly reduced price if you look into some of the Nokia X6 deals, such as the contract deals offered by mobile service providers.
