Samsung C3110 Review
The Samsung C3110 is a basic slider phone that is very much like the Samsung D500, offering several of the same features. Like the D500, the C3110 is a mobile phone that is easy to use; its features are very basic, but what you do get with this phone is Bluetooth technology. Another addition you find with the Samsung C3110 phone is built in FM radio so that you will never have to miss your favorite radio program again, even if you are no where near a radio.
One feature that you will not get with the Samsung C3110 is 3G. When looking at this handset it is important to remember that it is really meant for basic communication and not for activities such as surfing the Internet or video calling.
The Samsung C3110 phone measures 99.8 X 48.8 X 15 mm and weighs only 96g; this is compact enough to carry with you easily, but large enough that typing out text messaging is relatively easy. There is also a 2-inch display on the front of the phone; of course this is small compared to some of the displays offered on modern mobile phones, but it is sufficient for what you will be doing with the C3110.
With the Samsung C3110 you get enough room to store up to 1000 contacts; this phone features 15 MB of internal memory, but you do have the options of expanding the memory up to 8 GB with a microSD card.
Some of the features you’ll find with the Samsung C3110 phone include SMS and MMS text messaging, and preloaded games, plus you do have the option of downloading additional games. There is a basic 1.3-megapixel phone that can also record video. If you absolutely needed to snap a picture then this camera could do the job, but if you want quality photos and video you will likely want to make sure that you have your stand alone camera with you.
There is a basic web browser included with the Samsung C3110, but it is a bit frustrating and surfing the net is slow. Some additional features include a fairly good MP3 music player, and organizer, as well as voice memo.
The battery life of the C3110 is rated for about 9 hours of talk time and 490 hours of standby time; this is about average for a low-end mobile phone. The C3110 is not a high tech smartphone that is full of features, but a basic phone meant mostly for communication, but on the bright side it is very affordable.
