Samsung G600 Review
The one thing that Samsung is known for is their wonderfully thin and compact phones; the Samsung G600 is no different. This mobile phone is only 15mm, but it still has some fantastic features, such as a 5-megapixel camera.
Though the Samsung G600 may not be quite as flashy as some mobiles, for example the LG Chocolate or Shine, it is still a great looking phone. This phone has a screen that you won’t have to strain your eyes to see, in addition, the keypad is designed in a way that it isn’t so sensitive that you can’t use it. With the G600, you can dial numbers and send messages without a massive amount of mistakes.
The G600’s camera is located behind the slider, but it is still easy enough to get to when you need it. The camera comes with a variety of settings including auto focus, but unfortunately it only features a LED photo light instead of the better xenon flash. This camera also doubles as a video recorder so that you can capture video clips whenever you choose.
For the music lover there is also a music player built in to the Samsung G600 mobile phone. This player supports several file formats, including the popular MP3.
Some additional features that are fun as well as useful include an FM radio, quick access to Google toolbar for trouble free searching, as well as the ability to expand the phone’s memory up to 2 GB more with the micro SD slot.
When comparing the G600 Samsung to the Nokia N95, which also features a 5-megapixel camera, there are some advantages to the Nokia such as HSDPA, Wi-Fi, as well as built-in GPS.
The Samsung G600 mobile phone performs well; calls are clear and reception is great. The camera takes some fine pictures, with the only drawback being that photos taken in low lighting do not come out quite as good as they could with a better flash.
The battery life of this Samsung mobile phone is fairly good, lasting about two days, but it should be noted that if you use the camera frequently the G600 Samsung might need to be recharged more often.
The Samsung G600 is a first class phone when put up against many of the comparable phones available, but if you want 3G and Wi-Fi, the Nokia N95 may be a better option for the price.
If Internet is not one of your biggest concerns, you’ll find that this mobile is easy to take around with you and offers some great extras, additionally, it is not difficult to find some good Samsung G600 deals.
