G502 Sony Ericsson Hazlenut Review

Although the X1 was one of the best new phones that have been released recently by Sony, the Ericsson G502 Hazelnut has a few advantages, in addition to being targeted toward a different market.

One of the best features of the G502 Sony Ericsson Hazelnut is that it is one of the few mobile phones of its class that offers HSDPA technology. Along with this, the G502 does offer an integrated web browser, which is a fantastic addition if you need access to the Internet while on the go.

The Sony Ericsson G502 Hazelnut comes in a stylish candy bar design; this mobile device is also very compact, measuring 103 x 46 x 13.5 mm and weighing 83g. The polished plastic looks great, but at the same time it doesn’t attract a lot of fingerprints.

Some of the features of the Sony Ericsson Cybershot G502 Hazelnut include USB for easy transfer of files from comparable devices, such as a PC, in addition to a 2-megapixel camera, and a speakerphone. You’ll also find that this mobile phone features a 2-inch display, but there is no call speaker or secondary camera for video calls.

This is a phone that is definitely meant for the web; with the Sony Ericsson G502 Hazelnut you have access to not only your web mail, but also your pop3 accounts. Users will also find that surfing the Internet is fast and easy thanks to the high-speed Internet connectivity of the G502.

Among the few problems that the user may encounter with the G502 Sony Ericsson Hazelnut include the lack of camera capabilities. There is no doubt that the camera will be great for that unexpected picture, but it is very basic, with nothing to set it apart from the low range phone cameras.

There is no flash or auto focus, which means that if you are taking pictures under optimal circumstances, your photos will likely turn out okay, but if there is low lighting the quality of your pictures will suffer.

When you buy Sony Ericsson G502 the one thing that will standout is this phone’s multimedia superiority. You’ll get great media player software that is compatible with many different file formats.

The G502 does feature 32 MB of internal memory, along with capability of expanding by adding a memory card.

It’s doubtful that someone who is looking for a great camera phone will find the Sony Ericsson G502 Hazelnut adequate. Aside from the camera, the phone would definitely be better if it had a larger display, but as far as the rest of the features, it is really a very good quality mobile device.
