Sony Ericsson Naite

Sony Ericsson Naite Review
The Sony Ericsson Naite is a mobile phone that is taking part in one of the newest trends in handsets that claim to be more environmentally friendly. According to Sony this phone carries the Greenheart Badge, which means that it will be better on the environment.
The material this phone is made from is from recycled materials, which is the first way that this phone is more environmental friendly. Despite being constructed of at least 50 percent recycled material, it doesn’t really look any different than many other Sony Ericsson phones. Some additional ways they have made the Sony Ericsson Naite a more environmentally friendly phone is with the battery charger, which will use less energy to charge the phone, plus the packaging the Naite comes in is quite small, so it takes less material to package. If that isn’t enough, there are even some preinstalled applications to help you keep track of your carbon emissions.
One of the biggest selling points of the Sony Ericsson Naite is that it will help you go green; aside from this, it really is just a basic mobile phone. You will get HSDPA web browsing, along with easy access to social networking sites such as Facebook, plus you can also use Twitter from this handset.
The design of the Sony Ericsson Naite is average; it features a 2.2-inch QVGA display, plus a 2-megapixel camera, which unfortunately does not include flash or auto focus. You will be able to take pictures of basic quality, though if you want to take some great pictures you will have to bring along your digital camera.
You will also find that the Naite comes with a multimedia player that will play music as well as video. The player supports a variety of file formats, including MP3, AAC and WMA audio files; for video you get support for MP4 and WMV. You will also get 3G included with the Naite, which should make surfing the Internet much faster, though for some reason with the Naite it is slow.
One concern that many people may have with purchasing a mobile phone that is billed as environmentally friendly is battery life. Will the phone have enough of a charge to be useful? The Sony Ericsson Naite is rated for over 4 hours of talk time. With average use you should be able to use this phone for a bout three or four days before it will need to be charged. This isn’t the best battery life available on a mobile phone, but it isn’t that bad either.
Although there is nothing especially outstanding about the Sony Naite, it does perform well, and it is billed as being a green phone, plus it shouldn’t be too difficult to find good Sony Ericsson Naite deals.
