Sony T707 Review

The mobile phone industry is flooded with smart looking mobile phones, but if you want a lot of style it can be difficult to come by. Now there is the Sony Ericsson T707; this phone comes in a fun, clamshell design with features that are sure to please those people that like a little fashion, even with their mobile.

The Sony Ericsson T707 comes in a few different colors including glossy black, pink and blue. What is different about this phone is that toward the top there are rings that glow when you get an incoming call or message, plus there is a small display that tells you the time, as well as how much battery life the phone has left.

When you open up the Sony Ericsson T707 you’ll see a 2.2-inch screen that provides a bright and colorful picture that is easy to see. Below the screen you get a standard keypad, though its layout does make it simple to use and its not too crowded.

Some of the features that come with the Sony Ericsson T707 include six pre-installed display themes, Google Maps, and the AccuWeather weather application. There are also Facebook and YouTube applications that will make using these sites easy and fun. You can watch the latest YouTube videos and keep in touch with your friends right from your mobile phone.

With the Sony Ericsson T707 you get good call quality, as well as great messaging capabilities. You will also get a basic browser, and although it isn’t spectacular you can surf the Internet. In addition, you will also get some organization tools such as a calendar, contact list and alarms. Of course there is also a music player, along with a built in FM radio so that you can listen to your favorite radio program or bring along your music collection.  The battery life of the T707 isn’t too bad at all; you should get three or four days of use between charges, even if you are using the music player. This is a refreshing change from all of the recent smartphones that seem to require charging at least once a day.

Although the features of the Sony Ericsson T707 are basically average at best, the design and style of this phone is what makes it interesting. If the features are the only thing you are looking at you can easily find the same thing with some of the new Nokia and Samsung mobiles, but the style of this phone makes it fun. The biggest problems with the T707 is its lack of WiFi and GPS, which are features that are almost standard in mid range phones of today; aside from lacking in these features, this is a great mid range phone.
