Although the Vivaz Sony Ericsson is a touchscreen phone, it is still very small and compact, measuring only 52 x 107 x 13mm. This device feels comfortable in your hand due to its soft curves and oblong design. Of course the main attraction of the Sony Ericsson Vivaz is its camera, which does include built in LED flash. With this camera you will get good still photographs and fantastic video quality.
As nice as this camera is, it isn’t the only great feature that you’ll get with the Sony Ericsson Vivaz; the high-resolution touchscreen is also fantastic. Even though this is a small phone, you get a display that measures 3.2-inches so you will have a screen big enough to use as a touchscreen, plus pictures and graphics look great.
One of the biggest problems with the Vivaz is that it can be a little difficult to use, it operates off of the Symbian S60 system, which poses some problems with the user interface being finicky. Aside from this, the Sony Ericsson Vivaz performs well; it features built in GPS so traveling will be no problem, even if you are unfamiliar with the city you are in.
Some additional features that you will get, include HSDPA and WiFi for fast connections, plus you get several applications such as a YouTube player. The call quality with this phone is probably about what you would expect; with average use you will get about 2.5 days of use before you need to recharge.
There is no doubt that the Sony Ericsson Vivaz is a mobile that offers some fantastic features, but be prepared for some frustration when using this device. If you don’t mind a phone that does exhibit some sluggishness, you will be thrilled with all of the multimedia features and the added extras that come with the Vivaz. For those who are more interested in a high quality camera with their mobile, there is no doubt that this device will be everything that you could expect and more.
